Helius Terminal's alerting service uses a two-layer architecture to keep you informed without overwhelming you. A fast, deterministic signal engine monitors every incoming tick and detects meaningful market events in under 100 milliseconds. When an event crosses your thresholds, an AI analyst activates — explains what happened in plain language, cites the primary drivers, and recommends an action. LLM calls only fire on real events, not on every tick.

The signal engine processes every incoming Schwab streamer tick deterministically. Price moves, volume spikes, and microstructure events are detected in under 100 milliseconds.
When a signal fires, Claude or Gemini is activated to explain the event in plain language: what happened, the primary drivers, and a recommended action — delivered in under 10 seconds.
A configurable cooldown period suppresses repeat alerts for the same symbol within a set window. You only get alerted when something meaningfully new occurs.
All alerts are retained in an in-memory log (up to 500 events) with full details: symbol, event type, signal values, AI rationale, and timestamp. Exportable as JSON.
When an alert fires for a symbol in an automated or semi-automated trading list, the alert automatically initiates the corresponding execution workflow.
